NATURAL AND NUCLEAR DISASTER STRIKE JAPAN -AND AFTER THOUGHT

Japan the land of the rising sun here the brunt    of nature's fury and is shell shocked. The twin forces of nature – Earthquake and Tsunami worked in tandem and tore apart the economic, emotional and psychological fabric of Japan. Now a pall of gloom descends on the country.

 

In this moment of misery and distress the world empathizes with the people of Japan.  We all salute their fortitude, perseverance and in domitable spirit in waging a grim battle against the security of the onslaught caused by the natural calamity. We pray to give them strength to overcome the crisis and peace to the departed souls.

 

The catastrophe raises a few disturbing questions. What rankles ones mind is the frequency of the natural disaster? What steps can be taken to avert such misfortunes? Is this process irreversible? Who is largely responsible for such happenings? What is nature trying to convey to us? To what extent is nuclear in any form viable? It is immensely battle with dangerous, manifold consequences; it is the sitting on a living bomb.

 

Man has forgotten to its own peril the fundamental and universal truth about the invincibility of nature. We are trying to sub nature in the name of development and have not been working in                           with nature. Hence to a great extent man has been the catalyst behind such occurrences.

 

This horrifying tragedy reminds us that man has moved away from spiritualism and holistic living. We no more look inwards, the more we move inwards the more compassionate we become and the thought process that emerges out of it has a different quality and dimension. All answers to major problems lie inside us net outside. Let us pray to our masters and the almighty to illumine our inner being.  

Nature is in a punishing and unforgiving mood. The only options for us are to accept the blunders we have committed repent survender and pray for redemption. We appeal in reverence                   to the pious and enlightened souls who understand the movement and astrology of nature and who live in deep bounding with existence     to use their unlimited powers to save mankind for now only their "mercy pleas" will be heard by the almighty.

 

Will nature give us another chance to redeem ourselves? Or has the wheel of destruction started rolling. The answer lies in the womb of Mother Nature. All we can do now in to pray pray and pray individually and collectively.

GURU MANTRA

GURU MANTRA : THE MOST POWERFUL SHIELD

After my cornmunion with Gurudev, Guru Mantra has played a vital role through out my life and in all my religious worships. I get up daily before dawn, take a bath and devote myself to Gurudev, worship him according to the Tantra techniques. I recite Guru Mantra silently at least upto five rosaries (Mala) daily. During these Sadhnas, I got an invitation from Sh. Hari Ram Chaudhari of Faizabad to participate in the Shamshan Sadhnas (religious rituals performed in cremation grounds) along with other 25 devotees from nearby towns. These Sadhnas were to commence from Ashtami of Krishan Paksha (eighth of the waning moon), and was participated by senior devotees of Gurudev like Dr. Shyamal Kumar Bannerjec. The venue of the Sadhna was to be the cremation grounds on the banks of Saryu river in Ayodhya, for which we used to set out every night after 10 p.m. On these occasions my temperature used to rise to unusual heights as we passed down the Saryu bridge and therefore I used to take dips in Saryu for more than 10 minutes before setting out for Sadhna. We had to perform Shamshan Jagran Prayog (The invocation of cremation grounds). We worshipped Gurudevji according to Aghor system of worship. All Tantra measures including a Raksha Chakra (self-defence) were applied before invoking Shamshan Jagran Mantra. I also started reciting the special Mantra. No sooner did I recite it twenty times, then I heard tumultous noise around me. I looked at my companions but they seemed to be ignorant of it.

Then I looked to my left and was aghast, to see gigantic figures coming out of the pyres and rising to sky-heights and shortening themselves the very next moment. Unbearable foul smell overtook the whole area. I remained terror-struck for about 5 minutes. I closed my eyes. The next moment I came to myself, prayed to Gurudev in self protection, and started reciting Guru Mantra. Suddenly all horrifying figures, their shouts and cries disappeared. I kept on reciting Guru Mantra which provided me eternal peace and heavenly bliss after these nerve breaking experiences in the Saryu cremation grounds.
